As a Steelers fan, I have no other choice but to say Bettis. He's done it all, he's got the stats, he's got the super bowls, he's got the cool nicknames. His number is even unofficially retired. He was even given a key to the city.

He was in the pro bowl 6 times, got rookie of the year award back in 93', won comeback player of the year in 96', and won the Walter Payton Man of the year award in 2001.

It's just a tad bit early for him to be inducted this year, but 1-2 years from now, yes. The guy is without a doubt a Hall of Famer, whether it be next year, or in 20 years, he's a Hall of Famer.

The fact that Cris Carter isn't in the hall of fame yet is ridiculous. After Jerry Rice Cris Carter is probably the best WR in football history. All the guy did was catch touchdowns and he played a major role in some of the NFL's best offenses. So Carter should most definitely get in this year. If I had to make picks I'd say this:

Veteran's committee picks (Chris Hanbugrer/Les Ricther)
Cris Carter
Deion Sanders
Marshall Faulk
Curtis Martin
Cortez Kennedy
