How real are the Atlanta Falcons?

I find this question coming up a lot when I'm talking football with my buddies. Most of them seem to have this hatred for the Falcons or they just don't buy into them as a legit threat. I for one believe that this Falcons team is not only the best in the NFC, but the best in all the NFL. Call me crazy, but I haven't been this impressed with any team like I have Atlanta. Matt Ryan has been playing great football this year and he doesn't make the lousy mistakes that cost the team the game. They are arguably the best home team in all of football and are built to play on the road with their solid running game. The defense isn't great, but they got the job done and do what the team asks of them. Roddy White may be the best WR in football right now and I just can't see them slowing down. If they get home field in the NFC it could be a scary thing for the rest of the NFC, as I can't see the Falcons dropping a home game this year. So you heard it here first, the Atlanta Falcons will be representing the NFC this February at the new Dallas Stadium. Just my opinion, but what do y'all think of the Dirty Birds from the ATL?

I never thought of them as a bad team at all..in fact..I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up representing the NFC in Super Bowl 45 this year.

they just got a big win over Green bay. they are the best team in the NFC. i have the pats over them. i got the pats vs the falcons with the pats winning by 10. the pats got the best QB in the nfl (IMO) and 2 young TE. good WRs and 2 good RB. and there D is doing good this year. best team this year (IMO).

how real its as real as ricky picking LT the 1st round. Im gonna bash anyone who thinks else too You cannot say there a bad team or have gotten lucky they are 9-2 and deserve the credit
